This summer, there will be summer school at Franklin Learning Center.

Registration Dates: June 1-14 (See Ms. Harvey-Sallak)
Program Dates: June 25 – July 27 (closed July 2-4)
Course Offerings:  English 1, 2, & 3, World History, African American History, US History, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Physical Science, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Spanish 1, & Spanish 2
12th Grade ONLY Offerings: Elective, Arts/Humanities, Physical Education, Health, Multi-Disciplinary Project AND English 4, Social Science

Who’s Eligible?

12th Grade Students:Any current 12th grade student is eligible to attend summer school for up to two credit recovery courses. 12th grade students who need Multidisciplinary Project to graduate can complete this requirement in addition. Students who meet graduation requirements at the end of the Summer School program will receive their High School diploma. Students in summer school will not be granted waivers for any graduation requirements.
11th Grade Students: Any current 11th grade student is eligible to attend summer school for up to two credit recovery core courses.
9th – 10th Grade Students: Current 9th and 10th grade students from GEAR-UP schools will be able to register for up to two credit recovery core courses. Seats are very limited. SOF IS A GEAR-UP SCHOOL!

If you find that your child needs Summer School, please send the child to Ms. Harvey-Sallak’s office during lunch time, between June 1 and June 12.
