We are a city-wide admission public high school in Philadelphia, PA. We accept applications through the School District of Philadelphia’s site selection process.
The School District of Philadelphia’s school selection process typically begins in early fall and closes in mid-fall. Schools make their final decisions in early winter, and notifications go out in mid-winter. This process is followed for admissions to all grades, 9th through 12th.
We do not use test scores in our admissions process. In general, our admissions criteria are as follows:
- no failures
- no lower than a C in a major subject
- 10 or fewer unexcused absences
- 10 or fewer late arrivals
- no/extremely few negative progress report comments
- a clean disciplinary record

We also offer three types of low incidence classrooms; MDS, AS, and LSS. Learners are assigned to these classes through upper level transfers approved by the Office of Specialized Services. Check out their web page to learn more.
